Plan the fence for the screen
A screened fence catches wind like a sail. In Florida, posts and footings have to be sized for that from the start, so tell us on day one if you want screen.
Common choices
- Full-height screen on the baselines, partial on the sides
- Dark green or black to give players a clean background
- Custom windscreen with your club, community or sponsor logo
Questions we hear
- Should windscreen come down before a hurricane?
- Yes. Take it down or roll it up before a named storm so the fence does not carry the full wind load.
