Sound barriers
Pickleball sound barrier fence that cuts the noise neighbors hear
The pop of a paddle carries. Sound barrier panels hung on the court fence block the direct path from the court to the homes next to it. We mount them on new fence or on the fence you already have.

What makes a sound barrier work
- It covers the full height of the fence on the sides that face homes
- It runs continuously, with no gaps at posts, gates or corners
- It is as close to the court as the layout allows
- The fence posts are sized for the extra wind load
Pickleball noise mitigation for HOA boards
Noise complaints about community courts are turning into board fights across Florida. We give the board one written proposal it can vote on: which sides get panels, how tall they are, and the price for each part.
Who calls us about noise
- HOA boards and managers answering complaints about existing courts
- Homeowners planning a backyard court close to a property line
- Clubs and communities adding courts near homes
What a sound barrier will not do
Panels lower the noise that reaches nearby homes. They do not make a court silent, and they work best on the sides closest to the neighbors. We will tell you where they help and where they do not before you buy.

Questions we hear
- Can sound panels go on our existing court fence?
- Usually yes. We check that the posts and framework can carry the extra wind load first, and add support where they cannot.
- Do we need panels on every side?
- Often not. Most courts need them only on the sides that face homes.
- Does regular windscreen reduce pickleball noise?
- Not much. Windscreen is a light, open mesh made to cut wind and glare. Sound barrier panels are much heavier and solid, which is what blocks the sound.
